Sidecar not working
Hello people I just figured out a problem with my SideCar and wanted to help any of you in case you have a similar problem.
I had
- sideCar-compatible Mac and iPad with the newest software
- handoff activated
- restarted wifi, bluetooth, handoff and the devices themselves multiple times
- same apple-ids registered to both devices with two-factor-authentification
- also tried sidecar via usb, which gave me the same error message
But the problem was: the apple-ids were registered to the same e-mail address but didn't have the same display name enabled (under contacts my card all the way at the top), as soon as I fixed that everything worked like a charm :)
