Having Apple ID and Gmail with the same email address confuses Apple Mail
Hi,
I am having an Apple ID with the email - let's say 123@mydomain.com - as the username. That email is actually an Gmail account. This said, I am setting up my Apple Mail with 2 Internet Accounts, one is the iCloud Account and the other is for theGmail account.
Remember, the iCloud account uses 123@mydomain.com as a username but the actually recipient email is e.g. 123@icloud.com.
The Gmail account as 123@mydomain.com as the recipient email.
Now that is where Apple Mail gets totally confused... in ANY case it's falling back to the config of the iCloud account using the wrong outgoing SMTP server or wrong signature. Only when I disable the iCloud Account, it's behaving like it should....
Anybody noticing the same problems?
