Problems with KonicaMinolta bizhub 3351 and Mac Mini
I am having problems printing with a bizhub 3351 from a Mac Mini M2 running OS Sequoia (15.6.1).
The printer is connected via the network and added via its IP address. The latest driver was downloaded from the KonicaMinolta website (11.9.0A).
The printer appears in the print menu and printing is possible. However, when I change any option (duplex/no duplex, tray selection), it seems to be completely ignored. For example, the printer always prints two-sided, regardless of which option is selected.
So far, I have:
Reinstalled the driver
Selected single-sided printing as the default in the Mac's CUPS settings
Set some duplex commands using lpadmin
Installed the printer as a generic PostScript printer
Reset the printing system and reinstalled the driver
None of this has any effect on the options, and the printer always prints duplex, regardless of whether the option has been selected or not.
If I turn off duplex directly in the printer settings on the printer directly, the duplex function is generally disabled and can no longer be activated via the print option on the Mac.
If I install the printer as an Airprint printer, I can control the duplex function and tray selection correctly. However, I need the Postscript function, so this is not an alternative.
Can you help me?
Thank you very much
