Will apple fix noise cancelling for AirPods Max?

Tested AirPods Max at the Apple Store in August 2024 and loved them. The noise cancelling was amazing. A few weeks later I bought them and was very happy with them.

But one day I noticed the ANC had gotten a lot less powerful, supposedly because of a software update by Apple. I am angry and sad, because I spent a lot of money on noise cancelling headphones and suppendly they turn into noise reduction headphones?!

This has severely damaged my trust in Apple. I am really really hoping Apple will fix this in an upcoming update.
