Ear pods 3,5mm different

I bought ear pods 3,5mm from Apple Store online and they are totally different than the once I got in 2015 that was included in my iPhone box.

the band is not rubbish and the sound is more lighter with less bass and more crispy.

did apple changed the ear pods factory and they are less good anymore ?
