Camera - video - noise isolation settings

While capturing videos during a concert, I mistakenly captured all the videos with noise isolation setting enabled. Unfortunately, since it was loud I couldn’t check it there.


While reviewing the videos later, I realised that the outputs are ruined because the original sound are not fully recorded.


I valued this opportunity a lot and can‘t imagine getting another chance. I would love to get some support from the community and experts to somehow try to get this resolved.


Through my initial research from online, I came to know that it mught not be possible. But I want to try some possibilities to somehow get those original recordings if possible.

Unfortunately, if Voice Isolation was active while the videos were recorded, the sounds it filtered out weren’t saved in the recording. There isn’t a way to restore that missing original audio afterward.


Before trying any editing apps, keep the original videos unchanged and work from copies. Audio software may improve what remains, but it can’t accurately recreate music or crowd sound that wasn’t recorded.


The only exception would be if the effect was applied later as an edit in Photos. In that case, open a video, tap Edit, and check whether Revert to Original is available.

Ich würde dich ganz herzlich bitten, deinen Text hier in der deutschsprachigen Community in deutscher Sprache zu verfassen:


  1. deine Chancen, dass du gefunden wirst sind größer 
  2. alle hier können den Text gut verstehen und auch kompetent in deutscher Sprache antworten.
  3. davon profitieren wir alle hier.


Wenn du mit der deutschen Sprache Probleme hast, dann nutze bitte Apple Intelligence oder eines der zahlreichen Übersetzungsprogramme, z.B. auch die App aus dem Apple Programm.
