Restore Data from Locked iPhone

I recently have somehow forgotten my password for my iPhone16. Not knowing I have only 10 attempts I ended up only having one more try before my phone getting locked. I have not enabled the function to erase my phone after 10 failed attempts, however I have read that after the trials my data will not be able to be restored whatsoever. My problem is that I have not stored my photos on iCloud, since my iCloud storage was too small. Do I have any way to restore my pictures? Can the apple store help me? I have cried a lot about this and cant find any proper way? Can I lock in with my AppleID? There must be a way. I can definitely show that this is my phone since it has a screenpicture of me and is in my appleID list of my devices.

Thank you very much in advance.

Don’t use that last passcode attempt unless you’re very sure of the code.

There is one important possibility first: if you changed the iPhone passcode within the last 72 hours, tap Forgot Passcode? on the lock screen. iOS 26 may offer Enter Previous Passcode, which lets you unlock the iPhone with the old passcode and create a new one. Apple explains it here: Use your old passcode within 72 hours

If you didn’t recently change the passcode, your Apple Account password can’t substitute for the iPhone passcode. An Apple Store also can’t bypass the passcode or retrieve the encrypted photos for you. They can help reset the iPhone, but resetting erases the data on it.

Turning off Erase Data after 10 failed attempts prevents the automatic erase, but Apple says that after 10 failed attempts the iPhone still has to be restored to regain access.

Before doing any reset, I’d check carefully for an existing iCloud or computer backup. If the photos weren’t in iCloud Photos and aren’t in a backup anywhere, I wouldn’t erase the phone while there’s still any chance you may remember the passcode.
