Battery overhating and audio problems
The battery is heating. And this happens at random times. Snd the audio is sometimes bad. And i bought an 18 pro but i have to open on my birthday so shoul i skip

If the iPhone 12 mini is getting noticeably hot at random while you’re not doing anything demanding, I’d check Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging first. If it shows “Service,” or the phone is unusually hot, swelling, or shutting down, I’d stop using it and have Apple check the battery.
The audio issue may be separate. Try a Voice Memos recording and a speakerphone call to see whether the problem is with the microphone, speaker, or both.
If you mean “should I skip using the iPhone 18 Pro,” I wouldn’t base that decision on problems with the 12 mini. Those sound specific to the older phone. If you meant something else by “skip,” let us know.
