New airpods 5 having heavy static noise while using ANC and transparency mode. With the listening mode on off everything is fine. I’ve heard this is a common issue with the airpods 5. Should I return them or is there a solution coming. Very dissatisfied.
Heavy static in ANC or Transparency mode isn’t something I’d consider normal, especially on a new pair. Those modes rely on the AirPods’ microphones, so the fact that the noise disappears when Listening Mode is Off is worth noting.

If the static is still there after that, I wouldn’t wait for a possible software fix that Apple hasn’t announced. Since they’re new, I’d exchange or return them while you’re still within the return period.

Do you think is worth to get a replacement pair? I just think that they will have the same problem, i’ve heard it from multiple people.
