Apps that are not directly installed on Apple Watch cannot be installed manually (e.g. Waterspeed, What 3 words). I use an iPhone 18 Pro and an Apple Watch Ultra 4, both on iOS 27.2. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

In der Watch App am iPhone waren die Apps als "Available Apps" gelistet. Wenn man "Install" getippt hat, gab es nur einen "spinning circle", dann aber keine Installation auf der Watch. Hatte noch bei der Ultra 3 klaglos funktioniert.

I’d check the Watch app on your iPhone first. Go to My Watch > Apps > Available Apps and see if Waterspeed or what3words appears there.
You can also try installing either app directly from the App Store on your Apple Watch.
If the apps appear but won’t install, try restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch.
Are the apps missing from the Available Apps list, or does tapping Install simply not do anything? That would help narrow down the issue.
