How to remove the second desktop screen?

Probably, what you have is a Space, an additional desktops to organize the windows from your apps. When you work in a space, only the windows that are in that space are shown.

If that is correct, to delete a space you can do the following:

1. On your Mac, enter Mission Control, then move the pointer to the top edge of the screen.
2. In the Spaces bar, move the pointer over the space you want to delete, then click the Delete button that appears. If the space contains open windows, they will move to another space.
