I can’t see my money refunded on my bank account but status appears as refunded

I requested a refund after it was automatically charged from a card I could not remove from payment methods. I see that as a status for that request says refunded but my bank account displays it as debited with today’s date. What does this mean? Is it a bank problem?

If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item. Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.

Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.

Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Apple Cash, and all other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.

Thank you for your response although I have seen prompter responses with previous refund requests. This was just an unfortunate situation where I got charged due to being unable to remove my card before being charged. I am also waiting on a pending review for other refund requests. It says to allow 48 hours but do those really get approved after initially stating the request is not eligible for a refund?
