Can't reset my password through my iPhone

I forgot my apple password but I have full access to my phone through face id. It blocks me in stuff like downloading new apps and a few other actions I want to do. When I try to do the reset my password from my configuration in the phone it prompts the face id at the top which shows as successful and then nothing happens. I've tried several times.

Did anyone have this issue before? If so, were you able to fix it? How?
