Quicktime Player, open files in tabs

Does anyone know the procedure to open 2 or more files in Quicktime Player in tabs in the same window. I have been able to do it, but always inadvertently. I cannot find the set-up to do it at will. Selecting the show tab bar command does not automatically open the files in tabs.
