Iphone was stolen

Good day! I have an incident last night Nov 15,2024, while I'm on my way home my phone got snatched and unfortunately I cannot get it back. Is it possible to block the Iphone itself so they cannot used it anymore ? Hoping for your kind consideration. Thank you and have a good day
