MAC Mini M4 usbc to usbB disconnection issue with external BOSE companion speakers

• 2025 January, objective moving from MAC mini 2012 to MAC mini M4 2024 and attaching previously working BOSE companion 5
• first attempt at connecting my BOSE companion 5 with a dongle USB-C to USB-A and a cable USB-A ->USB-B failed
• Second attempt, as published by others on the web, acquired a cable USB-C to USB-B . Resulting with success for 5 days then suddenly the sound failed.
• still have not found the solution as posted by many many users.

if someone does find a solution please do publish it. Otherwise an other item that goes in the recycling bin.
