Printing quandary.

more a “why” than an actual problem.

ok - Scenario - sister in 🇦🇺 emails me 🇫🇷 cryptic crosswords daily.

method 1. On iMac 2008, copy & paste from email image to Keynote. Print to Canon G2469 mega-tank printer. Output is often of mediocre quality / blurry, even at maximum quality.

method 2. Same as above but from MBPro 11.7.10. Same result.

method 3 - from an image in “Messages”. Share to my email, copy to keynote on MBP, Print to my funky old HP lazer-printer.

Result is beautifully clear read.

any ideas?
