Tahoe widgets

I think I need some help.

I only updated to Tahoe today and I already regret it.

“Edit Widgets” is greyed out. On “Desktop & Dock” can’t uncheck “Show Widgets on Desktop” and “Show Widgets In Stage Manager”

Can’t uncheck “On Desktop” in Desktop & Stage Manager

Lot's of options are irresponsive in System Settings.

I've already restarted, I've already shut down, but everything remains the same.

• It's even worse than I thought. The buttons work with the mouse (which I never use) but don't work with my Wacom pen.
