Can’t unmute Telegram videos using volume buttons

I used to be able to unmute videos in Telegram by pressing the volume up button while the video was playing, but this no longer works. Even when I press the volume buttons, the video stays muted. This started after a recent iOS update, 26.2, so it may be an iOS-related bug or a compatibility issue. Is anyone else experiencing this?
