Airpods pro 2nd generation

I want to share my experience as a warning to other users. I purchased AirPods Pro (2nd generation) through my company. After about six months, one earbud started producing an extremely loud, high-pitched noise. The product was replaced and I was told it was a manufacturing defect.


The exact same issue happened again after another six months, resulting in another replacement. Then, only 15 days later, the problem returned once more and I was again told it was a manufacturing defect. Six months after that last replacement, the same issue occurred again.


This means the same defect happened four times, always acknowledged as a manufacturing problem. Now that the warranty period has passed, Apple will no longer replace the product and instead requires a paid assessment, even though the issue is clearly recurrent.


I’m posting this so other users are aware of the risk. In my case, the problem was not accidental or misuse — it was a repeated defect that was never truly resolved.


One less customer, i guess..
