Safari in full screen not respoding

After the Catalina update, I am having a problem with safari. When I'm on full screen mode on youtube in safari, the browser does not react to any of my mouse movement. I can't remove ads, neither can't I skip. I simply can't do anything but use my keyboard. How can I fix this? When the ad comes up, I have to quit the full screen mode and remove it and then do full screen mode again. Just tell me how to fix this thing
