Cannot install "Move to iOS" app on Android 4.2.2 ("not compatible")

The official Move to iOS page declares that all phones with Android 4 and higher are supported.

Yet I cannot install the app on my Samsung S3 Mini (GT-I8200N) running the default Android 4.2.2. The Play Store reports that the app cannot be installed because "the device is not compatible with this version" (actually displayed in German as "Dein Gerät ist nicht mit dieser Version kompatibel.").

No Android updates are available.

I want to get my data to my new iPhone. How can I move on?

If you can't install the "Move to iOS App" on your Android, you'll have to transfer the content manually, as explained in this article:

Move content manually from your Android device to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Wenn die App "Auf iOS übertragen" nicht auf dem Android Handy geladen werden kann, bleibt leider nur der Weg, die Daten manuell zu übertragen, so wie in diesem Artikel von Apple erklärt:
