Create Video as MP4

Hello,

there are numerous search results that, with previous IOS versions, it was possible to record a video as an .mp4 file with my iPhone be selecting "Maximum Compatibility" in the Camera settings.

However, on my iPhone 7 (iOS 14), when I select "Maximum Compatibility", it seems I nevertheless end up with a .mov file.

Please advise how I can either directly create an .mp4 file when recording a video or, alternatively, advise what would be the easiest way of converting the video to mp4 directly on my iPhone.
