Microsoft “Wireless laser mouse 8000” won’t pair, but show off among the available devices.

Hello!

I recently got my iPad (8th generation, 2021) for school. Now that I got a Bluetooth mouse and Bluetooth mouse already at home, I didn’t bought any additional Apple products. My keyboard paired successfully, but my mouse (Microsoft “Wireless laser mouse 8000) only connects in the Bluetooth settings, but won’t pair.

Is there anything I can do about it?

Is there Software, like drivers for it and if, how do i download/install them?

P.S: Since I use Linux and open source since I have my own laptop (I was 4y/o back then ^^), but I have no clue about IOS and how to use it.

I’m thankful for ever answer and please correct my if I do mistakes while texting English, I’m still learning :)
