Macbook Pro 13" 2019 Screen flickering partly black
Hi,
I have a problem with my Macbook Pro 13" from 2019 with the model number A1989 in its base configuration with four TB ports (8 GB Ram, 256 GB SSD).
The screen is flickering in the lower 2/3 of the screen black from time to time. When I use the trackpad (e.g. scrolling on it) the flickering intensifies. For example in an instant the lower third of the screen is black, but either comes back from its own shortly or when I move the mouse.
The flickering also appears slightly in the login screen before I can login to the user account. I already reinstalled MacOS freshly multiple times. Also I tried an install of Mojave and then upgraded to Monterey.
It also looks like when I install and start a game from the appstore (e.g. jump and run), the flickering seems to disappear and I can use the Macbook normally as long as the game is running in the background. The issue seems also not to be a problem with the display backlighting. I turned it completely down and checkt the screen with a flashlight and it was still flickering.
What I also already testes:
- Booting in Safemode doesn't show the flickering problem
- Resetting SMC, PRAM, NVRAM doesn't help
- Disabling True-Tone or auto-brightness
- Re-installing MacOS
- On an external monitor the Macbook works just fine for the external monitor image. The internal display is still flickering.
- Installing Windows 10 via Bootcamp -> This doesn't show the flickering at all and is totally usable
Hopefully someone has an idea, because I don't want to use the machine in the future on Windows only.
Für den Fall, dass ich gerade nur im Deutsch Bereich geschrieben haben sollte... sorry :D
