I'm using a Macbook Pro with OS Monterey 12.7 and can no longer view a large portion of my photos in the photos app. The advice from Apple is to upgrade to Ventura. I am unable to download Mac OS Ventura, receiving a message saying "The requested version of macOS is not available. Please check if your Mac.." Can anybody help?

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Community. Before thinking of upgrading, try these steps:
Repair your photo library: Hold down the Option and Command keys while opening the Photos app. Select "Repair" when prompted. If these don't work and you still wish to upgrade, ensure your MacBook Pro is compatible with Mac OS Ventura. If it is, you might consider reaching out to Apple Support Tel.: 0800 6645 451 (DE) directly regarding the upgrade issue.
