Exporting freeform boards as PDF

Hi guys,

I use Freeform for university coursework and regularly write long freeform boards, which I want to export as PDFs. When I do this, most of the content of the board is blurred (i.e. not sharply rendered) except a few features at the end. Does anyone know why this is? Does anyone else also have this problem?

This happens whether I export from my Mac (macOS Sonoma 14.0), iPad (iPad Pro, iPad OS 17.0.3) or iPhone (iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17.0.3). I attached a screenshot of an exported PDF. Thanks for your help!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.0

Greetings!

We appreciate your post in the Apple Support Community. The blurriness in the exported PDF from Freeform could be due to factors such as image resolution, scaling, export settings, or file types. To improve sharpness:

  • Ensure images have sufficient resolution.
  • Check for scaling options during export.
  • Experiment with export settings for quality and resolution.
  • Use PDF-friendly file types.
  • Keep software updated.

If the issue persists, consider contacting Apple support for more specific solutions.
