Cardio fitness not updating

Cardio fitness not updating after update early October to ios17. Latest updates to 17.1 didn't make any difference. Steps and other heath aspects are updated, only cardio fitness not working. After recalibration and a brisk walk a cardio fitness value was calculated but does not update anymore for the other workouts I'm doing?!? Apple Support was not able to help since all settings are correct, watch was reconnected etc.

Is this a software bug Apple is not aware of or there is a resolution???
