Mac Pro is offered continuosly to upgrade to macOS Sonoma although its incompatibility
Hello community, after ongoing start-up issues (hanging), I had to bring in my MacPro 2019 7,1 AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo to an Apple store for repair. First they suspected a hardware bug and started to exchange all kind of parts (logic board, SSD, RAM and more). After three weeks (!) they told me that Sonoma has a compatibility problem with the built-in high end graphic card AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo 32 GB. They decided to downgrade my not even four years old very expensive MacPro to Ventura and asked me not to upgrade the OS software anymore.
However, the funny part is: the Mac reminds me continuously to upgrade to Sonoma...
Any similar experiences in the community? Why does Apple offer OS upgrades to Macs that are not compatible? If I would do so, once more the MapPro would not work anymore. And a software downgrade can be done by Apple only. Very strange.
