How to install apps needing iOS 15 or higher in iPhone 5

I like to install an app on iPhone 5 on firmware 11.80.

When I try to download it, I get the message that it cannot be downloaded as it needs iOS 15 o higher.

But this device cannot be upgraded to a higher iOS.

Why do I not get the option to download a previous/older version of the app?

How do I get hold of a lower version that is compatible with iOS 11.80?

It cannot be that a functioning device is sidelined like this. It's still good for basic tasks and I want to use it.

Anyone from Apple reading this too?

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no way to download an app that requires the latest iOS version on an iPhone that is not up to date. The reason for this is often security regulations on the part of the app operator.

So you either have to get a newer iPhone or look in the App Store for a similar app that offers similar functionality and is compatible with older iOS versions.

Hallo cook, mit iOS 10.3.4 hat das iPhone 5 das letzte iOS-Update erhalten. Somit kannst du keine Apps downloaden, die eine höhere iOS-Version voraussetzen.

Err...

There are previous versions of apps and acc. to some logging in with an Apple ID from which had that app downloaded before onto a different device, an option should pop up: "Do you want to downloaf a previous vetsion of this app".

It's only that on this occasion I'm not getting this.

How about jailbraking the phone?

Botom line: It can't be that a perfectly functional deice is made useless by AppStore limitations. So I'm trying to look beyond to keep the device going.

Am I the only one...?

Ich möchte daher ältere Versionen herunterladen, die mit älteren iOS Versionen kompatibel sind.
