Major security issue in iPad Pro with two Apple-IDs
Recently I gifted my girlfriend my iPad Pro, because she can make better use of it. I signed out with my apple account, hard reset the device and signed her in.
Days later we are sitting on the couch, doing some online shopping. She is on HER iPhone and wants to pay via PayPal. The redirected PayPal login prompts her MY email… weird. She shows me and I jokingly say that’s on me an click the auto fill. Next the password request is prompted and with HER Face ID she unlocks MY password which is stored in MY keychain. There is virtually no connection between her and my apple accounts except that she now has my iPad, which was fully reset.
Have you completely lost your mind apple?! How can this big of a f***-up happen?!
Is everyone selling used devices now endangered of having their keychains unlocked by strangers? I was very lucky that this was my girlfriend and not someone else!
