Why M4 Pro MacBook offers more display resolutions than M2 Pro Mac Mini
Hi,
I have my office Macbook with M4 Pro and I have my private Mac Mini with an M2 Pro. Both run with MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1
If I connect the same display (BenQ PD2706U) to the M4 Macbook to the display via USB-C, it offers me a lot of resolutions (e.g. 3360x1890 which fits perfect to me, much space but not too hard to read).
If I connect that display to the M2 Mac Mini it offers only a few resolutions - one is too big, one to small and hard to read...
Does someone know the reason for this and is there a way to fix this? Is it because of different CPU? It does not seem to be the different connection (USB-C vs. HDMI) cause I have the same problem connecting the Mac Mini via USB-C.
Thanks for replies :-)
