Can I get a loaned iPhone while warranty repairs mine?
Dear Apple Community,
I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share a recent experience I had with my iPhone 15 Pro and see if anyone has had a similar situation or advice to share.
A few days ago, my iPhone 15 Pro broke on its own without any external cause, and I've had it for less than a month. I was pretty bummed out because I take good care of my devices. Thankfully, Apple accepted the warranty, and they are going to repair it at an official service center here in Uruguay.
However, there's a bit of a hiccup. The official store told me it would take at least 15 days to get my phone back, and in the meantime, I'll be left without a phone. This is quite inconvenient for me as I rely on my iPhone for both personal and work-related tasks.
So, my question is: Shouldn't Apple provide a loaner phone while mine is being repaired? Since the issue is a manufacturer’s fault and not mine, it feels unfair to be without a phone for two weeks or more.
Does anyone know if there's something specific I can appeal to in order to get a loaner phone during the repair period? Any advice or experiences you could share would be really helpful!
