Lost iPhone - can I access my iCloud photos and videos (of the lost iPhone) from an Android phone?

I lost my iPhone recently. In the short term I have replaced the phone with an emergency Android (Samsung). I have a stack of photos and videos, from my previous iPhone, stored on the iCloud. I want to be able to access them; I have email address and password to iCloud but I non longer have an Apple Device, and it seems that Apple demands an iPhone or MAC device to send a verification code for accessing the iCloud.

I have recently ´Trusted´ a browser on my microsoft windows laptop so that Apple will not demand a verification code from me (because I have no iPhone or MAC for it to be sent to - or it gets sent to the lost iPhone which I cannot access).

Will this Trusted Browser be sufficent for me to access my iCloud photos and videos, in the absence of a replacement iPhone or MAC?
