AirPods 4 issues after iOS 26.4 update
I am contacting you regarding a serious issue affecting my AirPods 4 following the recent iOS 26.4 update.
Prior to this update, the AirPods were functioning perfectly without any issues. However, immediately after updating, I began experiencing frequent micro-disconnections during use. Additionally, Siri functionality is no longer working correctly — I am unable to send messages via Siri, and incoming message notifications are not being announced.
I have already completed all recommended troubleshooting steps, including resetting and re-pairing the AirPods, restarting the iPhone, and verifying all relevant settings. None of these actions have resolved the issue.
It is important to note that these AirPods are relatively new, and the one-year warranty expired only last month. Given that the problem started directly after a software update and not due to normal wear or damage, this strongly suggests a software-related issue rather than a hardware failure.
This issue is significantly affecting the usability of the device. I kindly request your assistance in reviewing this case and advising on possible solutions, including any available exceptions or support options despite the recent warranty expiration.
