Making Google world integrate better with Apple apps
I've got a Mac for work, and we're also using the G Suite from Google. I'm trying to use the native Apple apps such as Mail and Calendar (instead of the browser that drains the battery) more and more. Whilst I can add my Google accounts fine, so I can read my emails and check my events, there are some functionalities missing with Apple apps. I don' know if they're just missing, or if it's me not knowing where they are.
1) Create an event from an email. In Google, dead easy, there's a button "create an event". Is there the same option in Mail?
2) In Google Calendar, I can check my colleagues' availability. Not in Apple's Calendar, it seems. When I select my colleagues' calendar in "Window", the display is blank (since it works in Google, I definitely have the rights). I even have public calendars like Public Holidays in Google, and even this one is blank. The only calendar displayed in Calendar, is mine. Am I missing a trick here?
3) When creating an event in Calendar, is there a way to Google Meet link as default link for a visio? The only video call option is FaceTime.
Thanks!
