Tap to pay on iPad

Hello,

I would like to know whether Tap to Pay (contactless payment acceptance using NFC, like “Tap to Pay on iPhone”) is supported on any iPad models.

I understand that Tap to Pay on iPhone works on compatible iPhones (such as iPhone XS or newer), but I can’t find clear information regarding iPads.

Does any iPad model support Tap to Pay?

Is the NFC hardware on iPad enabled for contactless payment acceptance?

Or is this feature limited to iPhone only?

I want to use my iPad as a payment terminal (SoftPOS), so I need confirmation before moving forward.
