Inconsistent Dolby Atmos Label
I have a Dolby Atmos setup using an Apple TV 4k (2nd Gen), Samsung S95B TV & a Sonos Arc + Sub. The Apple TV 4K is connected to an HDMI 2.1 port on the TV and the Sonos Arc is connected to the eArc HDMI port on the same TV. The TV setup indicates that the audio is connected to the Sonos Arc via eArc. In the Apple TV settings menu it shows Atmos in the "Immersive Audio" option.
When playing Dolby Atmos content (regardless of the App) the Dolby Atmos label in the Info Window does not appear. However, I have confirmed via the Sonos app that it's receiving Dolby Atmos content. In the Apple TV+ app in some random occasions it does show the Dolby Atmos label. One important thing to note - in the menu of apps (Netflix, Disney, etc..) the Dolby Atmos label always appears.
Why is that sometimes the Apple TV shows Dolby Atmos in the info window when the content is playing but most of the times it doesn't. This happens while the Sonos app always shows the correct label. For example, in the Sonos app it switches to PCM when navigating through the menus and 5.1 when playing non Dolby Atmos content.
Is there something wrong with the Apple TV?
