Apple censoring Telegram groups?

I am a log time Telegram user and now I realized something really odd.

I'm subscribed to a group that simply express different ideas from what the established political powers consider "acceptable".

Needless to say that this group DOES NOT endorse violence or any ilegal activities, however it became a target of the government and the mainstream media.

This group was now blocked on my iPhone and Mac Telegram apps, but I can access it with the Telegram web version.

Not even using a VPN can bypass this.

This means that Apple is censoring content on my devices!!!

This is UNACCEPTABLE.

If Apple is in fact censoring, I'll stop buying their products.

Can anyone from Apple explain be why this is happening?
