Can the Camera Shutter Sound Be Disabled on an iPhone Purchased in Japan?

Good morning everyone, I’m traveling to Japan next week and I’m considering buying an iphone 17 pro there. I know that iPhones sold in Japan have the camera shutter sound permanently enabled.

My question is: after returning to my home country (latin america), would it be possible to disable this shutter sound, or does the restriction remain regardless of region?
