HomePod connects unwanted to Apple TV

Hi,

I have an issue with my HomePod/Apple TV.

Quite often the Apple TV connects to my HomePod if I watch some movies, which means my 7.1 System is not working at all. The Apple TV ist connected with HDMI to my Denon receiver, but it is changing to stereo if the HomePod is connected. Why?

But I don’t want that. I haven’t found any option to prevent this. I tried to move the HomePod in the settings to another room, but no way, sometimes it still connects to the HomePod.

This is really annoying as I have to change the audio setting quite often, which also means to stop the movie and restart it again.

Any suggestions?
