hi guys, i have no backlight on the display (flex gate problem) with my macbook pro 13 from 2017. This has also been confirmed to me by service staff, however apple does not want to repair this because it is not in the exchange program. does anyone have the same problem or how should i best proceed now? thx

Ich persönlich glaube, dass es sich nur über den Rechtsweg lösen lässt.
Same problem. No support from Apple side although the problem is obvious!
Know some more cases in Germany having same issue.
Firstly a spotlight effect, then crash of background light, then full display fail. All other functions work perfectly with external monitor.
Any chance to collect the complaints?

Selbst wenn du eine Sammelklage hinbekommst (à la Dieselskandal) klagst du dich durch die Instanzen - Gerichtsstand dürfte übrigens Kork (IRE) sein, es wird also nach dortigem Recht verhandelt. Die Kosten des Verfahrens könnt ihr dann alle gemeinsam bestreiten, es sei denn, ihr findet einen Sponsor.
Wie so etwas ausgeht, sieht man beim o.g. Dieselskandal. Bemerkenswert ist übrigens in dem Zusammenhang die Tatsache, dass in den USA mit ihren verbraucherfreundlichen Gerichten auch keine einschlägigen Klagen anhängig sind.
Alsdann - viel Spass beim Klagen !
