Files are stuck in a second partition

I have been playing around with Asahi Linux and wanted to create a partition on the internal SSD where I can put my home path into. After creating a new partition, I went so Settings>Users & Groups and then changed my home directory into the second partition. After restarting the Computer, All my settings and files were not accessible, however I could see that the original MacOS partition still had files in it, I just couldn't access them. A bit later I noticed that I have all of my Apps however.

Can anyone help?
