Profile name changed in iMessage on iOS devices after recent iOS 15.7.1 update

it appeared that all my i - messages don't show my name anymore as it used to, but by icloud-address. I have checked all my settings back and forth, consulted more knowledgeable people and and compared and I just cannot change it back to where it was. It is annoying!

If i make a facetime call, it is the same : the caller id is my i-cloud address. I do not want my email address as my caller id !!!!

Can anyone help me with this dilemma ?

Did you check in the settings for messages, that in "Send & Receive/Start new conversation from" your phone number is selected?

Wurde in den Einstellungen für die Nachrichten überprüft, ob in den Einstellungen "Empfangen & Senden von iMessages/Neue Konversation starten von" die Rufnummer ausgewählt ist, und nicht die Appel ID?
