iMessage problem

Check your friend's iMessage status. It's possible that your friend may have switched to an Android device or deactivated iMessage on their device. You can ask them to check if iMessage is active on their phone. Make sure you have the correct phone number or email address for your friend. iMessage can be sent to a phone number or an email address associated with an Apple ID. Verify that the contact information is accurate and up to date.

Check for software updates. Ensure that both you and your friend are running the latest version of iOS. Reset network settings. This can help resolve connectivity issues.

Delete the conversation and start a new one. Sometimes, issues can be resolved by deleting the existing conversation with your friend and starting a new one.

Eine Frage wäre auch, ob es denn möglich ist, eine SMS an deinen Freund zu versenden. Ich frage deshalb, weil es einen Unterschied zwischen iMessage und SMS/MMS gibt. Schau bitte mal hier.

Mit iMessage kannst du verschlüsselt Nachrichten mit Fotos oder Videos an andere Apple Geräte (iPhone, iPad, Mac) versenden. Zu erkennen ist iMessage daran, dass die Sprechblasen blau unterlegt sind. Aktivieren oder deaktivieren kannst du iMessage unter "Einstellungen" > "Nachrichten".

Kannst du Nachrichten nicht über iMessage versenden, wähle SMS/MMS. Auch hier kannst du Fotos oder Videos anhängen, jedoch sind diese Nachrichten nicht verschlüsselt. Hier sind die Sprechblasen grün unterlegt. Bitte erkundige dich bei deinem Telefonanbieter, ob SMS/MMS Bestandteil deines Vertrages ist.
