Lightning adapters stop working - one by one

Hi there

I have some Lightning adapters, like a USB-C to Lightning adapter (and others like a

universal magnetic plug for the Lightning connector).

Since the latest IOS 26 or short before that, I cannot anymore forget the connected devices. Therefore,

sometimes my iPhone remembers adapters that were connected without power as

something else than a power adapter. That results in the iPhone not charging

and making the plug totally useless on that Specific phone. Before I could select "forget ...

Adapters" or something like this and the adapters started to work again. With the "new"

USB-C connector this option might be useless, but I am surely not the only one that uses

still an iPhone with lightning and accessories with lightning....

The option was here and I need it again:  Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Headphone Safety > Lightning Adapters
