Hello,

I am in China for several years before my return to France. I wanted to know if I buy the iPhone 16 which will be released soon. Should I expect compatibility issues compared to a French iPhone. I compared the frequency bands between the iPhones 15 from China and Europe, I just noted that there was an additional frequency for the European zone (LTE 53 2500 MHz). I don't think that this impacts the use of the phone in France. Please confirm this point if you know, otherwise for the rest of the phone, is there another point that changes between the 2 products from China and France?

Bonjour Lulu-gt,

Effectivement il y a une différence sur la gestion des bandes de fréquence, mais comme vous l'écrivez, ça ne changera franchement quasiment rien niveau 5G.

Par contre, les fonctionnalités qui ne fonctionnent pas en Chine, mais qui fonctionnent en France, resteront inactives même en changeant de pays votre identifiant Apple. Par exemple, la fonction Relai Privé iCloud n'est pas disponible en Chine continentale. Du coup, même en revenant en France avec un identifiant Apple français, et tout, cette fonction ne sera pas disponible vu que l'iPhone était destiné pour le marché chinois.
