Noise Internal MacBook Pro Support
Hello, I'd like to share a problem I've been experiencing for some time now with my M4 MacBook Pro.
Quite soon after purchasing it, a rather annoying noise appeared.
It most likely comes from the bottom case of the Mac.
This noise occurs when the force applied to the Mac's four support pads isn't perfectly distributed, for example when I'm carrying it or when it's on a surface that isn't perfectly level.
I think it's a loose or damaged plastic support, just on the other side of the aluminum, at the very bottom of the MacBook, that squeaks as soon as a slight force is applied to it.
After some research, it seems this problem has already been detected since MacBook Pros adopted this design, and so my question is:
Should I go to a Genius Bar while the warranty is still in effect so they can probably fix this problem, or will they not take it seriously?
I know this issue may seem trivial, but it really gives the product a fragile feel, and given the price and the short time it occurred, I'm really wondering.
Thank you to anyone who responds.
