Why does moving your body from country a to country b mean you now speak a totally new language

I recently moved from an English speaking country to Portugal. I can't understand how the second richest company in the world thinks that this means I am now automatically Portuguese, changes things like the Apple Store App to Portuguese, changes https://apple.com/pt to portuguese with no option to choose english. I know for a fact that there are english versions of these pages. I appreciate if the products you buy from here is different and have different prices but that doesn't mean the communication needs to be in Portuguese. It is 2024. People move around. I am buying a product. I am not being into a specific language and country.

I work as a web developer and I have implemented i18n many times. Please catch up with the rest of the world and provide multiple languages so that people who want to give you money while they are in a different country can do so.
