Keyboard autocorrect broken on iPadOS 26.2 (bilingual use)

After updating to iPadOS 26.2 on an iPad Pro (5th generation), the keyboard autocorrect became unreliable, especially when using Portuguese and English.

Issues include incorrect word splitting, missing accents in Portuguese, and unexpected language switching, even when the correct keyboard is selected. The problem happens across multiple apps, indicating a system-level bug.

Resetting the keyboard dictionary, disabling smart punctuation, and re-adding keyboards only partially help. This appears to be a regression in the autocorrect / language detection engine in iPadOS 26.x.
